WATCH: Sam Leavitt, Jordyn Tyson, Xavion Alford reflect on crazy 35-31 comeback win for ASU over Kansas

Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, wide receiver Jordyn Tyson and defensive back Xavion Alford were elated over the fact that they won off of a bye week, the team’s cohesion is improving more and more, battling through adversity with two defensive players being ejected and were able to beat Kansas 35-31 off of a last-minute touchdown by Tyson.

Leavitt completed 14-for-24 passes for 157 yards and four touchdowns. Tyson scored two touchdowns and had 76 receiving yards from six receptions. Alford mustered six total tackles and two pass breakups. ASU running back Cam Skattebo led the Sun Devils in rushing with 25 carries and 186 yards. Skattebo scored a touchdown as well.

This is Arizona State’s first win in the Big 12 Conference ever and are 4-1 on the season as they will face arguably the toughest opponent they will face all season next Friday, No. 18 ranked Utah at home in Tempe.
