Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham was proud of his team’s resilience despite playing an “ugly game,” Jordyn Tyson made up for a rough start with two touchdowns including the game-winner with 16 seconds left, Sam Leavitt’s poise being super professional, talked about Keyshaun Elliott and Clayton Smith’s ejections and more after the Sun Devils were able to squeeze out a 35-31 win over Kansas.

ASU was 2-9 in its last 11 games off of a bye week coming in and had yet to clinch a win in a Big 12 Conference game. Not only did they earn the victory, but the Sun Devils surpassed the win totals of each of the last two seasons, three. Arizona State is 4-1 currently after finishing 3-9 back-to-back years.

Leavitt completed 14-for-24 passes for 157 yards and four touchdowns. After a massive missed catch and fumble, Tyson recovered by scoring two touchdowns and collected 76 receiving yards from six receptions. Cam Skattebo rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown from 25 carries.
