Griner accumulated 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal vs. Atlanta.
The Mercury are 17-17 on the season and needed to not just win against the Dream, but needed the Chicago Sky to lose to the Las Vegas Aces. The Aces crushed the Sky 91-70 on Tuesday, helping the Mercury clinch a spot in the postseason.
