Durant now has 494 career Olympic points, surpassing Leslie’s 488 career points, after recording 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in 21 minutes in Team USA’s 122-87 win over Brazil Tuesday.

Leslie, a three-time WNBA MVP, played in four Olympics, winning gold in all of them, and also won two WNBA championships across 13 seasons.
Leslie played in the 1996 (Atlanta), 2000 (Sydney), 2004 (Athens), and 2008 (Beijing) Olympics, while Durant has played in every one since: 2012 (London), 2016 (Rio), 2021 (Tokyo) and 2024 (Paris).
Durant searches to match Leslie for his USA men’s basketball-record fourth gold medal in Paris, as Team USA will next take on Serbia on Thursday (Aug. 8) at 12 p.m. MST in the semifinals.
