Since joining the Aces in mid-May, the 21-year-old is hitting .319 across 37 games. He has 11 home runs this season with the Aces and an additional 14 with the Sod Poodles in Double-A.
While his experience in Triple-A is limited, as he has played just over a month, De Los Santos has done everything he can to prove he deserves a chance on the Diamondbacks’ roster. Over the last 90 days, the first baseman has a .342 batting average, a 1.051 OPS, has hit 25 home runs, and driven in 74 runs.
De Los Santos is currently ranked as the Diamondbacks’ #14 prospect on MLB Pipeline’s list, but he is quickly climbing the ranks.
