After going undrafted, Gabe McGlothan from Grand Canyon University (GCU) has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Denver Nuggets, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!McGlothan, a former star basketball player at Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona, is the first player from GCU to sign an NBA contract since the university became a Division I program in the 2013-2014 season.
In his senior year at Grand Canyon, McGlothan averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 47.7%. He led the Lopes to a WAC tournament championship and their fifth tournament win in school history, defeating St. Mary’s, the fifth seed, in the first round.
To cap off his monumental season, the 25-year-old McGlothan won the 35th annual College Slam Dunk Contest, hosted by GCU.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year minimum NBA salary contract that can be converted into a two-way contract before the season begins. McGlothan will attend camp with the Nuggets, and since Denver has a G-League team, there is always that option for further development.
