With the expansion of the conference, there are going to be new and renewed rivalries that will add spice to college basketball as a whole. Arizona State, Arizona, Utah and Colorado have joined the conference since departing from the Pac-12.

BYU and Utah will be must-watch television as both teams mightily despise each other in front of a hostile environment every time they play. Arizona and ASU will go head-to-head once again in arguably the fiercest battle in college sports. Colorado rejoined the conference after leaving for the Pac-12 in 2011, and will face familiar foes they once went up against a little over a decade ago.

The other schools in the Big 12 include Baylor, UCF, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Houston and West Virginia. Houston was the No. 1 men’s team by going 32-5 overall and 15-3 in the conference. For the women, Oklahoma led the Big 12 with a 23-10 record and finished 15-3 in the conference.
