A’ja Wilson is one of one.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The two-time WNBA MVP visited Phoenix and made history yet again. Wilson scored 32 points on 10-of-17 shooting against the Mercury, marking her eighth straight 25-point game. The most consecutive 25-plus point games in WNBA history.
Wilson surpasses Tina Charles, who had seven straight games of 25-plus points in 2021.

Phoenix fans have thrown Kahleah Copper’s name into MVP conversations, and understandably so. But with the level Wilson is performing at, it might be unfair to say it’s anyone else but her.
In her seventh year as a pro, Wilson is averaging 28.3 points per game, along with 11.4 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 1.9 steals. Just a week ago against the Dallas Wings, Wilson posted 36 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals. This stat line on the surface is abnormal. But it looks even crazier when you realize that she’s the only player in WNBA history to record 35-points, 10-rebounds and six steals.
Again, one of one.
