Osborne, 23, was selected 25th overall by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2024 draft. Osborne saw the floor for the Mercury in both preseason games, before being released by the team before the start of the season.
Osborne played five years at UCLA, making the All-Pac-12 team four times and the Pac-12 All-Defensive team twice. She averaged 15.9 points throughout her career as a Bruin.
A 5-foot-9 point guard, Osborne is a smaller, shiftier guard who brings defensive tenacity. She’s a solid passer, and could prove to be a nice plug-and-play option for the Mercury throughout the season.
Osborne returns to the Mercury and brings another young presence that can potentially turn into a rotational piece down the line.
