Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The 20-year veteran has done it all in the WNBA. From winning three championships to being the league’s all-time leading scorer, Taurasi is a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer. On Wednesday, Taurasi reached a smaller milestone — but a milestone nonetheless.
Taurasi reached 500 career steals against New York — becoming just the 18th player in WNBA history to reach that feat.

Taurasi’s offensive firepower and shooting ability has always been her calling card. However, the Phoenix legend can also be a ballhawk when needed.
After reaching 500 career steals, Taurasi becomes the only player in league history to tally 10,000-plus points, 2,000+ rebounds, 2,000+ assists and 500+ steals.
Taurasi ranks fifth all-time in assists (2280), 26th all-time in rebounds (2,108), and now 18th all-time in steals. More than anything, this is a testament to Taurasi’s unprecedented longevity — continuing to be a high-level play for two decades of basketball.
