Phoenix Suns forward Royce O’Neale is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Hawks after suffering a right shoulder contusion during yesterday’s 115-102 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!O’Neale stayed in the game shortly after suffering the injury, which was caused by a collision with Cameron Payne in the second half, but did not return after. Coach Frank Vogel said postgame he didn’t have an update on O’Neale.
O’Neale had 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting off the bench last night in only 10 minutes.
Josh Okogie will miss his 10th straight game with a lower abdominal strain for Phoenix (40-29), as Vogel said yessterday he expects Okogie back this weekend. The Suns travel to San Antonio to play the Spurs next on Saturday.
Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) remains out, as he has all season.
Hawks Injury Report
The Atlanta Hawks will most notably be missing Trae Young, who has not played since Feb. 23 after undergoing finger surgery. Atlanta (30-38) has gone 6-6 in this stretch without Young.
However, Young is far from the only Hawks player out tonight. Here’s who else is out for Atlanta:
- Jalen Johnson (right ankle injury)
- Saddiq Bey (torn ACL in left knee)
- AJ Griffin (right ankle sprain)
- Kobe Bufkin (left big toe sprain)
- Mouhamed Gueye (right UCL sprain)
Additionally, Wesley Matthews (illness) is questionable.
The Hawks have lost four of five entering tonight, including a 31-point loss to the Lakers last time out on Monday.
