Based on a report by NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero via X (formerly Twitter), Murray will earn close to $30 million in guaranteed money based on his contract terms.

By being on the Arizona Cardinals’ roster at 4 p.m. ET today, Kyler Murray now has an additional $29.9 million fully guaranteed for 2025, on top of the $35.3 million he’s guaranteed this season on the contract he signed in July 2022,” Pelissero said.

Earlier into the offseason, the Cardinals have said multiple times that the 26-year-old will be their franchise quarterback moving forward.

Murray will earn $35.3 for the upcoming 2024 season even though his cap hit will be $51.4 million. In 2025, his cap hit is going to be $45.6 million.

Back on July 21, 2022, he signed a five-year, $230.5 million contract with Arizona that will last until 2028 when it expires.

Murray tore an ACL back in 2022, resulting in him missing 11 months and the first nine games of last season. The Cardinals started the season 1-8 with Josh Dobbs and Clayton Tune serving as the quarterbacks during Murray’s absence.

In eight games, Arizona was 3-5 with Murray as he completed 176-of-268 passes (65.7%) for 1,799 yards and connected on 10 touchdowns.

Overall, the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner and two-time Pro Bowler has accumulated 15,647 yards from 1,492-of-2,239 passing (66.6%) and 94 touchdowns. During his five-year NFL career, Arizona is 28-36-1 with Murray as their No. 1 QB.
