This match is the second in the line up of many games for the 2024 season. In their previous game, the Rising outshot the Birmingham Legion 18 – 11, but lost 1- 0 last Saturday.

Coach Danny Stone said in an interview about the Monterey Bay FC, “They’re a team that is never an easy opponent to play… They are a very hard working, very consistent, high energy way of playing… We expect a difficult task and a tough opponent this weekend.

Though the team will be several states away, the Rising have not forgotten about their fans.  A watch party has been organized to keep the fans involved and excited.
