The Arizona Cardinals have made multiple upgrades to their defense, and a contributor last year is also going to be a part of the 2024 roster as well.

Amongst a plethora of players who re-signed one-year contracts with Arizona, cornerback Bobby Price has put pen to paper and completed his deal.

The Norfolk State product was an undrafted free agent in 2020 until the Detroit Lions signed him. During their final roster cuts, Price was waived on Sept. 5 that year before he signed with their practice squad the next day.

After fighting tooth and nail to crack the Lions’ main roster, Price was eventually elevated and played 22 games (two starts). There, he would defend three passes and collect 23 tackles.

Following the conclusion of the 2022 season, the Virginia native agreed to his first contract with Arizona.

In his initial year in the Valley, it was full of ups and downs.

The Cardinals waived him, re-signed him to their practice squad, activated him to their active roster and he suffered a quadriceps injury. Only able to play six games in his first opportunity with Arizona, Price defended a pass and grabbed four tackles.

With his return though, Price will compete once again with a congested cornerback room for the Cardinals. He joins a list of Garrett Williams, Andre Chachere, Michael Ojemudia, Darren Hall, Kei’Trel Moore, Qwauntrezz Knight, Starling Thomas V, Divaad Wilson and Quavian White who have all signed contracts for the 2024 season. And to top it all off, Arizona’s first 2024 Free Agency addition was Sean Murphy-Bunting, another cornerback.

The total valuation of Price’s deal (no pun intended) is not available, at the time of reporting.
