This was well deserved and likely a no-brainer for all voters. While Collins has been impactful offensively, his defensive ability and hustle have been a treat to watch.
In 31 regular season games played, the junior has totaled 83 steals. This stands as the most single-season steals by a player in Arizona State history.
The rest of the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team includes Arizona’s Oumar Ballo, UCLA’s Adem Bona, Oregon’s N’Faly Dante, and USC’s Kobe Johnson.
ASU now enters Pac-12 Tournament play as the No. 11 seed. The Sun Devils are set to face No. 6 Utah in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 13 at 8:30 p.m. MST.
