Collins’ historic season

The 22-year-old has been a defensive pest all season long and a nightmare for opposing offenses.

He has now officially broken defensive legend Lafayette “Fat” Lever’s record which stood for over 40 years. Collins currently stands at No. 3 in the entire country when it comes to total steals this season.

“I’m blessed but at the end of the day it’s about winning with this game and it’s a team sport, just wish we could have the win,” Collins said postgame.

Through 27 games, he is averaging 2.9 steals per game while also leading the team in scoring and assists per game.

While the Sun Devils (13-14, 7-9) have struggled as of late, Frankie Collins has been a bright spot all season and will be forever recognized in the record books.
