Through six games played this season, the team is averaging just under 1o runs per game while allowing 3.3 per game.

Casteel’s lone loss came against the Basha Bears (6-3) on Thursday. This was the only game of the season where they were held to under seven runs.

The Colts are coming off an incredible season of losing just six total games and being able to secure the 5A State Championship with a title victory against Catalina Foothills.

This is the final high school baseball season for several of the team’s key players. Their top five hit leaders through six games are all seniors.
