Continuing to be one of the more reliable leaders on the Arizona Coyotes, left wing Lawson Crouse makes a lasting impression every time he steps foot on the ice.

His physicality, presence, shot and hockey IQ has served him well as one of the more dominant power forwards in the NHL.

Going into last night’s tilt against the Colorado Avalanche, Crouse was sitting on 99 career goals and goalless in his previous six games.

But after receiving pass from Matias Maccelli, kicking the puck to his skate in the slot and firing a shot past Avalanche netminder Alexandar Georgiev, Crouse snapped the drought with his 100th NHL of his eight-year career.

Not only did he reach a major feat as a Coyote, but Crouse also became the seventh player in team history to have three consecutive 20-goal seasons.

This year, Crouse has played 53 games and added 10 assists to his 20 tallies, totaling 30 points. As for the physical and defensive sides of his game, he has racked up 112 hits and 37 blocks.

Overall, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Canadian suited up for 476 NHL games, collecting 100 goals, 85 assists, 1,320 hits and 269 blocks.

With 28 games remaining on Arizona’s schedule, there is still plenty of time for Crouse to surpass his career-high in single-season goals, 24 last season.
