The Hawks are coming off a season where they lost just three games and were crowned 6A conference champions. However, the team was eliminated in round two of the Open State Playoffs.
Highland has locked up defensively this season, allowing under 48 points per game. Defense is as important as ever in these elimination games and the Hawks can slow down opposing offenses.
The team’s top two leading scorers through 25 games have been freshman Nick Reber and Ty Crandall.
Eagles look to pull off upset
After an incredible start to the year, O’Connor has struggled and lost six of its last eight games to end the regular season. The team is under .500 on the road this season, making the matchup even more difficult than it already is.

In last season’s Open State Playoffs, the Eagles were knocked out in the first round by Millennium.
They will now look to make a deeper run in the state’s second-annual Open State Championship bracket.
