KD has been ruled out due to right hamstring soreness, per the Suns injury report.

Of the Suns consistent injury problems this season, Durant, for the most part, has been able to avoid any setbacks. Tonight will mark just his 5th game missed this season.

In the recent New Year’s Eve clash against the Orlando Magic, Durant displayed no apparent signs of injury concern. He scored 31 points on 12-21 shooting in Phoenix’s win.

Considering the Suns are navigating a back-to-back series of games, the decision to rest Durant tonight could be viewed as a prudent and cautious approach by the team.

Tipoff for the Suns’ encounter with the Trail Blazers is slated for 7 PM inside the Footprint Center.

Stay tuned for ongoing updates as we await additional information regarding the severity of Durant’s injury.
