Beal has missed the past five games due to a right ankle sprain that he suffered in the 1st quarter of a matchup against the Knicks. This injury was one of many setbacks that the three-time All-Star has faced this season.

Overall, through three different periods of absence, Beal has played in just five full games with the Suns. As a result, Phoenix’s big three have played just one game together, and this game ended in a loss.

Reacting to the news of Beal’s return to the court tonight against the Hornets, Jusuf Nurkic shared his excitement on social media.

The Hornets are currently riding a nine-game losing streak, with their last win dating back to December 8th against the Toronto Raptors. On the road, they hold a 3-11 record this season.
