“Hollywood” started in the first-14 games of the season, though the last two that he featured saw him listed as “questionable” before being ruled out.
Against the Chicago Bears, Brown missed his first game of the year and did not partake in practice for the past two weeks.
Since this issue has been persisting for about a month and a half, the possibility of him not returning for the final two games of the Cardinals remaining schedule became a reality.
Now that he heads to IR, speculation will surface of what Arizona will do since he is out of contract.
Will they choose to re-sign him to another deal or watch him leave to another organization in free agency?
In his second season in the valley, Brown had 51 receptions, 574 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 14 games.
Overall, he has amassed 1283 yards, 118 catches and seven touchdowns as a Cardinal.
