Sedona Prince is one of the under the radar players, who could become a possible candidate to be drafted by the Mercury. Prince is a senior center for Texas Christian University.

The Horned Frogs are currently the 25th ranked team in the country with a record of 13-0. They are led by Prince and Chandler, Arizona’s own Madison Conner.

Prince Got Skills

Prince is a 6’7″ forward who is averaging 21 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. She is also very efficient, shooting 60% from the floor.

She is adept at the pick and roll. This is a major skill that’s needed at the pro level.

She is also good when the pick and roll is stopped short of the basket. Prince shows off her mid-range jumper here.

The double double machine also has post moves for days.

Prince’s impact is major on both ends. The ability she has to protect the rim could be a major asset in the W.

Prince and Brittney Griner together in the front court would cause opposing offenses major issues at the rim.

TCU has not played against the best competition as of yet but that is soon changing. There next game is against (10-3) Brigham Young University on December 30th.

The game after that the Horned Frogs will be on the road at 10th ranked Baylor University. Baylor is also undefeated at 11-0.

The next few games will be big test for Prince and the Horned Frogs as a team. Prince may be able to show the world that she is the real deal and garner some draft buzz in the process.
