Phoenix Suns guard Eric Gordon will miss his second straight game due to right lower leg soreness tonight vs. the Knicks, Suns’ coach Frank Vogel says.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Gordon joins Josh Okogie (hip) and Damion Lee (knee) as the three Suns out tonight. Grayson Allen (groin) was upgraded to available earlier today after originally being listed as questionable.
Vogel said that Gordon woke up with soreness after the Golden State game on Tuesday, and he doesn’t think it will be a long term injury.

Gordon has started 16 of the 21 games he’s played in, averaging 14.2 points and 2.9 assists. Gordon has attempted and made the most threes on the Suns this season by far, shooting 57-for-143 (40%) from beyond the arc.
Phoenix greatly missed Gordon’s ability to space the floor in the team’s Big 3 debut Wednesday. They ended up losing 116-112 to the Nets. Now, the Suns won’t have the 34-year-old veteran once again after he was a late scratch before the Brooklyn game.
When Gordon does return, he would either be a perfect bench piece for Phoenix behind Booker and Beal when he returns or could also be a candidate for the team’s fifth starter.
Tonight’s game tips off at 8 p.m. MST at Footprint Center.
