Williams, who redshirted during his Freshman season, was a fantastic prospect coming out of High School. He was a three-star and a top-25 defensive end in the class.
Williams was highly recruited coming out of high school, and most experts expected him to sign with Auburn, Georgia Tech, or Nebraska before he announced he would be coming to Tempe. Williams was a very exciting get for the Sun Devils and will be a major loss, considering he probably would’ve been a big piece for ASU next year. He joins RB Javen Jacobs as one of two underclassmen transfers for the Sun Devils this year.
Williams will be a great recruit for whichever team lands him next.
