The Wolves (2-1) made a final-four appearance in Arizona’s first open state championship.
The team entered the bracket as the No. 13 seed and pulled off two playoff wins against top-five seeds.
However, they lost to the eventual champion Perry Pumas 64-50 in the semifinal.

Despite the loss, their run is something to be proud of and gives them more motivation for this season.
Strong Start To Season
Desert Mountain has started this season 2-1 and is coming off an 81-74 win against Califronia’s Sierra Canyon and Bryce James.

They are averaging a ridiculous 87 points per game to start the year, looking unstoppable offensively.
2024 Open Championship
The Wolves will undoubtedly be back to the open division playoffs and are not a team you want to play. The Perry Pumas are the defending champions and the team to beat, but Desert Mountain has an opportunity to knock them off.
