
Trailing by three points in 2nd overtime and with just .09 left on the clock, the Utah Jazz attempted a quick three from an inbound pass that could have potentially tied the game at 140.
Immediately after Lauri Markkanen shot up a prayer from the corner, the referee blew their whistle, signaling a foul on the Suns’ Kevin Durant.
Which, in part, led Frank Vogel to quickly call for a challenge.
Following further review, the officials concluded that because Kevin Durant tipped the shot before making contact with Markkanen, the foul call would be overturned.
Ultimately ending the game with the Suns winning 140-137.
