After a scandal led to the resignation of Robert Sarver, the Phoenix Suns turned to Mat Ishbia to restore stability and accountability within the organization.

Despite having been in charge for less than a year, Ishbia has quickly proven to be one of, if not the best, owners in the entire NBA.

Of course, you have the flashy deals that were put into place almost immediately after he was given the owner job, such as signing Kevin Durant to the Suns or bringing the 2024 WNBA All-Star game to Phoenix.

However, it has been the little things that Ishbia has done that have set him apart from the rest of the pack.

Ahead of the Suns matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday at the Footprint Center, Ishbia announced that he would not be able to make it to the game.

So, instead of leaving his owner’s box empty, Ishbia took to social media to offer up his tickets for some lucky fans.

Ishbia tweeted out on X, Has been awesome seeing so much support for our @Suns so far this season! We play OKC tomorrow and I won’t be able to make it, but would love to offer some great Suns fans tickets to the game. We obviously won’t be able to take care of everyone, but I have an extra 10 tickets in my personal suite and will pick 5 fans to go and take someone with them. Reply here and post a picture of who you would take with you to the game, and why! I will pick winners by noon tomorrow.”

A pure class from the Suns’ owner.
