The Sun Devils have their hands full this weekend in Salt Lake City, and the sports betting world seems to agree. Arizona State is coming off of three weeks of great performances in games many thought they would get blown out in. Despite being 1-2 in those three weeks, ASU lost to two opponents many thought wouldn’t be a game by a combined 11 points. For tomorrow’s matchup at the university of Utah, 98% of bettors chose Utah. Only 2% of bets have been placed on the Sun Devils to win the game outright. If you are one who consistently looks at the popular pick provided by DraftKings regularly, you know how absurd that is. Especially considering that Arizona State is not playing bad football. The University of Utah is coming off of a game where they got smocked at home. Although the Oregon Ducks are the eighth ranked school in the country, they lost 35-6. A score like that in a game that most thought would be competitive, and even took Utah to win, that’s demoralizing.
It Is Justifiable
Utah is 4-1 at home and hasn’t lost to an unranked opponent. Even though they are coming off of a loss, Utah should win this game. Although, a lot of people said the same thing a week ago about Washington State. WSU went on to lose to the Sun Devils by two possessions. The one thing I will say about this game is that I think the Sun Devils will cover the spread. Arizona State is +11 heading into tomorrow’s week ten matchup. The Sun Devils have covered the spread in their last three games, and I’ll hop on that train.
