As if the NBA needed another rivalry, the Spurs took both games against the Suns, one in which they came back from down 25.

So, naturally, some back-and-forth banter started between the two teams.

Tensions peaked with less than 3 minutes left after Jeremy Sochan blocked Devin Booker’s shot, leading to a Spurs 3 and helping them pull away with a win.

Immediately after the game ended, Sochan wanted to make sure everybody knew who won the game.

However, it should be pointed out that the Suns’ loss was most certainly not Booker’s fault.

In his first game back from injury, D-book scored 31 points and went 5-7 from beyond the arc. He was just one rebound away from a triple-double.

Meanwhile, Sochan tied a season high with 14 points and had a career high of nine assists.

The next time these two teams will see each other is on March 23rd in San Antonio.
