Falling to 1-7, Arizona Cardinals fans were left disappointed and irate after a 31-24 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Oct. 29.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! With a lot of pressure on his back, Cards’ quarterback Josh Dobbs started the game with a rushing touchdown to give Arizona a 7-0 lead.
However, that would be the only offense from the Cardinals until the fourth quarter.
Responding, Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews received a 5-yard pass from quarterback Lamar Jackson in the first frame.
As for the Ravens, running back Gus Edwards had two touchdowns with 1 in both the second and the third quarters as they had a 21-7 advantage.
Already 3-for-3 on extra-point conversions, Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker nailed a 48-yard field goal and Arizona were losing 24-7 with 9:27 left in the game.
Fan Reaction
One man standing out from the rest, Cardinals tight end Trey McBride received a 17-yard pass by Dobbs.
Quickly, Dobbs was pushed into the end zone by multiple teammates to covert a 2-point conversion to lessen the deficit to 24-15.
Responding, Arizona fans had something to cheer about after a dismal three quarters.
Trey McBride is the silver lining this game. Great to see our young TE of the future putting in great effort

With 2:51 remaining, Edwards would then rush for 1-yard and got his third touchdown of the game to make it 31-15.
Hollywood with a TD against his former team, have to get the onside kick to have a chance to possibly come back, long shot though #BirdGang

Briefly, it looked like the Cardinals were constructing a comeback.
Soon, Arizona wide receiver Marquise Brown caught a pass by Dobbs for 1-yard, but failed to convert another 2-point conversion with only 1:14 left on the clock.
As a result, the Cardinals decided to go for an onside kick and they got the ball again after a successful attempt.
Then, Arizona kicker Matt Prater kicked a 47-yard field goal that almost hit the left goalpost to finish the game 31-24.
Unfortunately for AZ, when they tried for another onside kick, the Ravens grabbed the ball to end the matchup.
When talking about Dobbs’ overall performance, Cardinals fans were left with disgust after the team only scored when the game was pretty much over.
11 of 18 for 61 yards and 2 interceptions. Pathetic. #BirdGang

Furthermore, fans also were questioning head coach Jonathan Gannon’s play call’s and voiced their frustration with them being now 1-7.
Jonathan Gannon as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals at home is the one of the worst hires in National Football League (NFL).
Jonathan Gannon is a much worse version of Kliff Kingsbury and Nathaniel Hackett.
What a hack job for Jonathan Gannon.
Please get a better head coach
