Originally, the Rangers led 2-0 early on as they tacked on a pair of runs off Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen.

Then, the D-backs answered back with three runs in the third inning, led by rookie Corbin Carroll.

Heading into the ninth inning, the D-backs held a 5-3 lead; however, for the first time all season, a team got to Paul Sewald.

After Sewald walked the leadoff batter, Corey Seager launched one far over the right field fence to tie the game at 5.

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks remained silent offensively; they did not score in the final seven innings.

This ultimately gave the Rangers an opportunity to walk it off with one swing of the bat.

Which Adolis Garcia took advantage of.

With one out in the 11th inning, Garcia took Miguel Castro yard to give the Rangers a Game 1 win.

It was certainly a heartbreaking loss for a Diamondbacks team that looked well on their way to jumping out to an early series lead.

Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:07 PM.
