While there were not too many changes made compared to the NLCS, Arizona did bring back Jace Peterson as Jake McCarthy remains out with an injury.

The Diamondbacks acquired Peterson at the trade deadline from the Oakland Athletics.

However, since joining the team, Peterson has struggled at the plate; he ended the regular season going 17-93 while with the D-backs.

In the postseason, Peterson has seen just four at-bats; he has gotten on base via walks in three of them.

He will likely be used as a pinch hitter for the Diamondbacks in the World Series.

The first pitch for Game 1 is tonight at 5:07 PM.
