The Rams came into this game with the fifth ranked passing attack in the NFL. Los Angeles passed for 270 yards per game in their first five games.

On paper this was tailored made for the Rams to have a big offensive game. Good thing the game is not played on paper.

Arizona kept constant pressure on Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Stafford went 8/15 for 134 yards as the Rams were forced to punt on three of their first four drives. On the offensive end the Cardinals didn’t exactly light up the scoreboard.

They scored nine points and three of those points came after a special teams turnover by the Rams.

Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs went 10/17 for 76 yards. Arizona was able to gain some yards on the ground as Dobbs ran for 38 yards and Keontay Ingram had 36 yards on nine carries.

The Rams offense showed some life right before the end the of the half.

This led to another field goal for the Rams. The Cardinals were up at halftime, 9-6. Stafford passed for 134 yards in the half and 101 of those yards were to Cooper Kupp.
