The Sun Devils are Still Unsure of This Transfer’s Status

Adam Miller used his second transfer to move from LSU to Arizona State. By rule, he would be ineligible for the 2023-24 season. However, the Sun Devils are moving to appeal that to get Miller on the court immediately.

Coach Bobby Hurley is ready to move on that now. However, when asked if they had heard anything about that situation, Hurley quickly commented.

“No, we have not. And we’re going to work on that. And that should be executed shortly.” Hurley said, “And then we should know when the NCAA does decide on it.”

Miller looks to be a major piece of this team’s starting rotation. He started his career in Illinois before transferring to LSU. Last year with the Tigers, he averaged 12 points per game and started every game for them. He played 33 minutes a game, so he has the experience that Bobby Hurley wants on this team, but his status to play this season remains in the air. The NCAA has declined all appeals of this nature for football players, so we will see if a sporting change changes their minds.
