One of the best plays of the game for Arizona State happened when there was a miscommunication between quarterback Caleb Williams and running back MarShawn Lloyd which resulted in a fumble and recovery by the Sun Devils.

From there, USC didn’t look back as they ended up scoring on all of their next possessions. Caleb Williams connected with Brendan Rice for a 43-yard touchdown and then on the next drive on a short field, Williams got a quarterback sneak to make it 21-10 in midway through the 4th quarter.
After that, it was the Kenny Dillingham and Cam Skattebo show as Dillingham pulled off all the tricks to move the ball down the field to make it a one-score game at the end of the half.
It was a trick play on a trick play on a trick play to end Arizona State’s last drive of the 1st half and it resulted in Skattebo throwing more passing yards (42) for the entire game so far than starting quarterback Drew Pyne (29).
Arizona State is set to receive the second-half kickoff.
