Arizona State fought hard in this one as they lost to USC by a final score of 42-28.

Shortly after Cameron Skattebo ran it in for the touchdown on the sparky formation.

USC got it going shortly afterward as they put together a couple of touchdown drives on their next two drives with one of the touchdowns coming on a 4th down play and another coming off of a quarterback sneak at the one-yard line.

Then afterward it was the Cameron Skattebo show as he and head coach Kenny Dillingham were in their bag on the last offensive drive for the half. Dillingham called trick play after trick play for Skattebo as they ended up getting a key offensive score going into the half.

The second half was even more fun to witness. USC started the half by marching the ball down the field and kicking a field goal after a huge Prince Dorbah sack on Caleb Williams.

Then on the next drive, Drew Pyne through a beautiful touchdown fade to Elijah Badger, and then Cameron Skattebo converted the 2-point conversion to make it 24-21.

Later in the game, Caleb Williams through a pair of touchdowns while Skattebo got a sick 4th down touchdown play to keep the game alive in the 4th quarter.

Then to end the night Arizona State turned the ball over on downs at midfield to put the icing on the game.
Skattebo was by far and away the best player on the field tonight even with Caleb Williams playing. He finished with 111 yards rushing, 42 yards passing, and 79 yards receiving to go along with 2 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion. It was an impressive outing for the transfer Junior from Sacramento State.
Now Arizona State sits at 1-3 and will play their first road game of the season next week against Cal.
