Arizona Cardinals Injury Report

Player, Position, Injury, Game Status

  • L.J. Collier, Defensive End, Biceps, Out
  • Josh Woods, Linebacker, Ankle, Out
  • Kelvin Beachum, Tackle, Hand, Questionable
  • Leki Fotu, Defensive Tackle, Shoulder, Questionable
  • Budda Baker, Safety, Hamstring, Questionable

The New York Giants come into this game healthy for the most part but the few injuries that are listed could be major. The Giants offensive line struggled in a major way against the Dallas Cowboys in week one. If Andrew Thomas is unable to play, the challenge to protect quarterback Daniel Jones will be even tougher.

The biggest name on the Cardinals injury report is Budda Baker. Baker is a five-time pro bowler and two-time All-Pro. If he can’t go, the secondary will be effected in a major way. The term “next man up” is used a lot in football to basically say once a man goes down. The next guy on the depth chart has to step up and fill that role. The shoes of Baker would be huge ones to fill. The Giants could look to attack K’von Wallace or whoever else starts at free safety in Baker’s place.
