This would be a highly anticipated fight if it is made. Andrade and Benavidez are undefeated and believed to be “boogeymen” in boxing. Boxing fans believe that both Andrade and Benavidez have been avoided or ducked by other big time fighters like Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
Andrade is 32-0 with 19 knockouts while Benavidez is 27-0 with 23 knockouts. Each fighter is coming off of an impressive win in their last bout. 2023 has been a good year for boxing with match-ups like, Devin Haney vs Vasyl Lomachenko, Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia, and Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence Jr, among others. Hopefully a date, time, and place for Demetrius Andrade vs David Benavidez is announced soon.
