Hovland and Schaufflle were on the second green when the horn blew, alerting players of the delay due to dangerous weather and lightning.

A lengthy delay was also present for Saturday’s round as Atlanta has been in the midst of severe weather conditions all week with temperatures reaching 100 degrees.

ASU’s Jon Rahm entered the TOUR Championship at No. 4 in FedExCup points and tied for fifth place after round three on Saturday. Rahm was even through three holes before play was suspended on Sunday and moved down two spots to seventh.

With the season finale on hold for the time being, players will attempt to stay both mentally and physically prepared to resume when the storm passes. No information has been provided regarding the resumption of play.
