Chimezie Metum recently signed a one-year deal with the Suns back in June. He is expected to make around $2.5 million this season.
Prior to joining the Suns, Metu spent two seasons with the Spurs and more recently, contributed significantly off the bench for the Kings over a span of three years.
Last season, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 10.4 minutes, 4.9 points and three rebounds on 59/24/74 splits.
Chimezie Metu’s off-court contributions are equally remarkable. Reportedly, he invested a considerable amount of time recruiting players for the Nigerian basketball team
Big s/o to @Chimezie_Metu.
Has showed up every window despite the lack of organization. Recruited the team to play last minute.
