Mercury’s backup guard Shey Peddy had a scary injury on the court where she suffered a concussion injury with another player that resulted in the stretcher coming out onto the court.

Peddy was shortly sent straight to the hospital for further testing which resulted in every Mercury fan, player, and coach holding their breath.

The good news is that Peddy was recently let go from the hospital and seems to be in good spirits after a report came out by the Mercury social media team.

After the game, Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi talked about the scary incident and how much they’re praying for her and hoping for the best in her recovery.

It’s good to see Peddy out of the hospital and doing well. Even though the Mercury didn’t come away with the win on the court, they got a good win off the court with Peddy being able to come home.
