The Phoenix Suns fell to the Denver Nuggets last year in 6 games in the second round of the NBA playoffs. But, one thing was for sure. Devin Booker was not the reason why they didn’t move to the Western Conference championship round.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!During the playoffs last year, Booker had one of the best offensive performances in NBA playoff history as he averaged, 34 PPG, 7 APG, and 5 RPG, on 59% shooting and 51% from 3-point range. The guy was on another planet.
It was so amazing that Booker was being mentioned in the same conversation as Michael Jordan after his averages during his playoff run.

Devin Booker (359 points, 71 assists) becomes the 2nd player to record 350+ PTS and 70+ AST in his first 10 games of a postseason.

One of the players that caught the attention of his playoff heroics was former Nuggets player and current Pacers player Bruce Brown who appeared on the Run Your Race Podcast.
During the episode, Brown talked about how he couldn’t believe how many shots Booker was making during the series against the Nuggets and how it needs to be talked about more.

“His shot chart, it was all green. In the playoffs, ALL GREEN!”

You can even see below the video how the shot chart during the entire playoff run shows. Booker is green from everywhere around the court.
A lot of the talk was being said that with Kevin Durant joining the picture, it opened up a lot of one-on-one opportunities for Booker. However, during the Nuggets series, even when double teams approached him, he was still making tough contested jumpers that had the Nuggets scratching their heads.

Phoenix Suns officially agree to deal with Bol Bol, trade away Cam Payne
Now with the Suns trading for former all-star guard Bradley Beal, it should free Booker up, even more, to pick teams apart. However, after this last playoff run, he might be the first player that teams start to gameplan around.
