Add it to the list of accomplishments that the Diamondbacks; rookie has already achieved in his short time in the majors.
And the good news for Arizona is that they will have this future superstar locked up for another seven seasons. The $111 million deal may even go down as an underpayment considering what Carroll has already done for the franchise.
Heading into the All-Star break, Carroll is near the top of the league with a 3.8 offensive WAR (wins above replacement). This trails only Ronald Acuna Jr. and Mookie Betts, two almost certain Hall of Famers.
Led by Carroll, the Diamondbacks are on pace to make their first playoff run since 2017. But not only are the wins rolling in at an increasing rate, but so are the fans.
The D-backs are averaging an increase of over 4,000 fans at home games this year due to the excitement that Corbin Carroll and others bring to the table.
It is an exciting time to cheer on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
