Per his Instagram story, the Arizona Diamondbacks have called up 21-year-old RHP Justin Martinez from Triple-A Reno.

Since then, Martinez has worked his way up through the ranks by throwing over 100 MPH on the mound. Martinez finally made his Triple-A debut last fall.
So far in 2023, Justin Martinez has a 4.18 ERA through 25 appearances. He also has an impressive 38 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched.Â
After undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2021, Martinez has developed into a potential star for the Diamondbacks.
