Yesterday, the 76ers made Nick Nurse their next head coach of their franchise and it’s been widely reported that Nurse was choosing between the 76ers and the Suns over the past two days before he ultimately made his decision.
On Undisputed this morning, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless talked about the news and discussed Nurse choosing Philidelphia over Phoenix. Sharpe seems to think it was a wise move.
Nick Nurse reportedly rejects the Suns to become the 76ers head coach:

With the West loaded with talent from top to bottom and the East only having 4 solidified teams at the top, Sharpe believed that Nurse made the right decision in regards to consistently having a chance of getting to the Finals.
Outside of the Suns, the West got loaded teams in the Denver Nuggets, the reigning champion Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers and so many more.
A healthy New Orleans Pelicans team looked prime for a top seed before injuries derailed their season. The West is no joke and that makes Suns owner Mat Ishbia’s decision that much more important when it comes to the coaching hire now that Nurse is off the table.
