With the #1 seed in the Western Conference locked up, the Denver Nuggets will not be taking any chances against the Suns on Thursday.

Similar to the last time these two teams faced off, Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, and Zeke Nnaji are all listed as game-time decisions. Additionally, Michael Porter Jr. is day-to-day while Collin Gillespie is out.

The Nuggets have lost three of their last four matchups because of this injury bug. However, most of this can be attributed to them playing things extra safe.

On the Suns’ sideline, Phoenix will likely roll with their typical starting lineup. Despite having the four-seed already set in stone, the Suns have only played seven games this season with their full starting five.

While it is unlikely that Durant and Booker will play their full amount of minutes, HC Monty Williams wants to give them as many reps as possible on the court together.

It is also important to note that Phoenix will have back-to-back games this week as they take on the Lakers on Friday. They will then finish off the regular season against what may be a first-round preview against the Clippers on Sunday.

Tip-off tonight is at 7 PM as Phoenix seeks to extend their winning streak to tie a season-high of seven.”
