Following the Suns’ hard-fought victory against the Dallas Mavericks, Deandre Ayton spoke on what his experience has been watching Phoenix’s deadly duo.

Ayton described Devin Booker and Kevin Durant as “a movie.”

While Ayton did not have the best day from the scoring side, the Suns’ big man played a huge role in the rebounding category.

Ayton finished with 16 rebounds; it was his ninth game this season grabbing 15 or more boards.

This is exactly what the Suns need from Ayton, as they have plenty of scoring already from Booker and KD.

Both recorded 35+ points; the last time a pair of teammates did this with the Suns was back in 2017. This was recorded with none other than T.J. Warren and Devin Booker.

Booker is averaging 36 PPG in his past three games, while Durant is averaging 27 points at a ridiculous .700% rate.

It has been a successful new era for the Suns’ thus far as they are 3-0 since KD’s debut; however, the fun has just begun as Phoenix still has plenty of basketball to play before the playoffs.
