Kevin Durant made his debut with the Phoenix Suns last night against the Charolette Hornets. While we expected him to be a difference maker, there is one thing that stood out to me above all. The most impressive especially since it has been nearly two months since playing in an actual NBA game at full speed.

However coming off of a two month hiatus; dropped into a new team with new coaching and lineup, what he did last night from an efficiency standpoint is impressive.
Kevin Durant Stat Line From Suns Debut
In 27 minutes, he tallied 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assist. He did this on only 15 shots from the field, making 10 of them. He also shot 50% from beyond the arc, 2-4.

Durant was all smiles after his first game in a Phoenix Suns uniform.
His debut is one fans will be able to marvel at for the rest of the season. Him and superstar Devin Booker looked like the one-two punch they were hyped up to be.
