The Phoenix Suns have reportedly expressed interest in taking five-time All Star John Wall off the buyout market.

Wall was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Houston Rockets a couple of weeks ago; however, the Rockets do not plan on keeping him.

This season, Wall is averaging 11.4 points per game and 5.2 assists. While he is not the player that he was a handful of seasons ago, he offers a rare ballhandling talent that the Suns could use.

Phoenix has already expressed interest in Derrick Rose, another aging ex-star, proving that they are seeking one last veteran piece before embarking on their hopeful championship run.

With a stacked starting five, a major question has arisen around their bench depth. Either John Wall or Derrick Rose could fix some of those problems.

In his prime, Wall was one of the most feared shooters in the league, along with one of the fastest. While some of this speed has weathered away at 32 years old, Wall offers a unique change of pace that would allow the Suns to control the game even with their starters resting.

For the Suns, Mat Ishbia will do whatever it takes to build a championship-style roster; no move is out of the picture.
